Press Release

A world first is coming. The first tokenised blockchain journalist is launching a brand new website made of tokenised knowledge, and it runs on the Apertum blockchain.

Imagine you have a jar of sweets. You can eat them yourself, or you can hand them out one at a time to people who want one.

Now imagine the sweets are things you know. What you have learned. Your writing, your lessons, your experience.

That is what tokenising your knowledge means. You take something you know, you give it a shape, and you put it somewhere safe where people can see it, share it, own a piece of it and pass it on.

That is what is coming. A whole website of it.

So what is actually happening?

Performing Markets has been rebuilt from the ground up. Not as a normal site. Every useful thing on it is tokenised, which means it lives on a blockchain rather than just sitting in a folder on somebody's computer.

A blockchain is a shared notebook. Everyone can read it. Nobody can rub anything out. So when something is written in it, it stays written.

The notebook being used here is called Apertum. It is fast, it is cheap to use, and it was built for exactly this sort of thing.

A big thank you to Tekholms

None of this would exist without Tekholms, owner and developer of OpenPlaza.
He revamped the entire Performing Markets website and did all the hard work — tokenising every piece of the content on the Apertum blockchain. Real use. Real utility. Not a promise on a slide.
Anything is possible with visionaries like Tekholms. Take a bow, sir.

He did it to his own knowledge first

Here is the lovely part. Tekholms did not just do this for somebody else. He did it to himself first.

All of his own know-how is tokenised and sitting on OpenPlaza for people to pick up. Some of it is free. Some of it is paid, because it is the specialised stuff — the real nuts and bolts of how you take a thing from the real world, like an article or a video, and turn it into something that lives on a blockchain.

So he is not selling a theory. He is handing over the actual recipe, and he proved it works by using it on me. If you want the fuller story of how we started working together, I wrote about it in the OpenPlaza collaboration.

Why Apertum?

Three simple reasons.

  • It is quick. Things settle in about a second, sometimes faster.
  • It is cheap. Fees are tiny, so small ideas are worth doing.
  • It plays nicely with others. It speaks the same language as the biggest blockchain tools already out there, so nothing has to be built from scratch.

Which means a person with an idea and no big budget can actually build something real. Which is the whole point.

If you want the longer version of why this chain and not another one, I went through it properly in the best blockchain for tokenised assets.

This is what utility looks like. Not a promise on a slide. A working thing you can click on.

Built from nothing, with AI as the helper

Here is the part worth paying attention to.

This was not built by a big team in a glass office. It was built by a small crew using AI tools as helpers and a blockchain as the foundation. Writing, images, video, code, layout — all of it assisted, all of it fast.

A year ago that would have taken a company. Today it takes a laptop, some curiosity, a good developer and a few solid afternoons.

If it can be done here, it can be done by you.

Anything can be tokenised

Once the idea clicks, you start seeing it everywhere. A course. A song. A ticket. A recipe. A photo. A guide you wrote at two in the morning because nobody else had written it.

Knowledge was the example chosen here. It is a good one, because everybody has some.

Where will this be in a year?

Honestly? Further along than most people expect.

AI keeps getting better at making things. Blockchains keep getting cheaper at holding things. Put the two together and the gap between “I have an idea” and “here it is, live” keeps shrinking.

The people who look comfortable with all this in a year's time are the people who start poking at it now. Not experts. Just starters.

Start now. Learn the skills. Have some fun with it.

Want to see it in action?

Tekholms has tokenised his own knowledge on OpenPlaza. Some free, some paid. It is the step by step of how all this is actually done.

Glasses up. Something genuinely new is about to land, and anybody is welcome to copy the homework.
