Apertum’s Digital City: Where Ideas Become Web3 Products and Services

Yesterday we explored the fuel. Today we open the doors. 🚀

Imagine a buzzing digital city filled with shops, creative studios, learning spaces and sporting communities.

That is our analogy for Apertum: a blockchain where ideas, developers and communities can come together to build useful experiences.

We Have the Fuel. What About the City?

Our previous article imagined Apertum reaching 1,000,000 transactions per day, with APTM as the petrol powering those journeys.

But what would bring people into the city?

Great content. Useful tools. Digital products. Communities worth returning to.

The City Already Has Useful Tools

Visit the Apertum explorer’s dApp directory and you will find some of the city’s infrastructure:

  • Apertum Bridge and DEX: tools for moving assets between chains and swapping tokens.
  • Apertum Contracts Wizard: a tool for creating smart contracts.
  • NFT Manager and Mining Manager: tools for organising NFTs and managing MineBots.
  • Burn Explorer: a window into token-burning activity.

Think bridges, exchange counters and builders’ workshops the practical tools behind the digital high street.

And the Shopfronts Are Taking Shape

  • OpenPlaza: an Apertum NFT marketplace for discovering and trading digital collectibles.
  • SportsFuture: an athlete-focused project exploring sports collectibles, digital legacies and community.
  • Performing Markets: our own contribution through independent blockchain journalism and tokenised educational content.

Browse RollerDX for more independent projects using Apertum and/or APTM. Different ideas, different stages one growing neighbourhood.

My Shopfront Started with a Conversation

A year ago, becoming an independent journalist publishing tokenised content on Apertum would have sounded unlikely to me.

Then Tekholms, the developer behind OpenPlaza, suggested tokenising Performing Markets content. SportsFuture helped connect us.

I brought the content. Tekholms brought the technical skills. An idea became real.

You do not need every skill yourself. Sometimes the next door opens through collaboration.

What Would You Build?

Apertum supports Ethereum-compatible smart contracts building blocks for dApps, or applications with blockchain-powered features.

Imagine a coaching corner selling training guides. A creator’s studio offering music and collectibles. A learning lounge with digital certificates. Or a community clubhouse with memberships and event access.

These are possibilities, not claims that every service already exists. Every new shopfront starts with someone asking: “What if?”

APTM Powers the On-Chain Journeys

Transactions on Apertum need APTM for network fees. Users can pay those fees, or projects can cover them.

A product can be priced separately from its gas fee just as a shop’s goods are separate from the fuel in its delivery van.

More useful services could encourage more on-chain activity. Browsing a webpage alone does not automatically create a transaction.

The Next Idea Could Be Yours

One million daily transactions is still our imagined scenario. The opportunity is to build experiences people genuinely want to use.

The fuel matters. But the people building the city make it worth visiting. 🦁🚀

Editorial Note

Existing projects and imagined ideas are distinguished above. Performing Markets collaborates with Tekholms and has community connections with SportsFuture. Cryptoassets and mining-related products carry risks and costs; more activity does not guarantee token-price growth.
