How to Buy Apertum (APTM): A Beginner’s Guide

Want to unlock an article on Performing Markets? You may not need to buy APTM. If the article accepts wUSDT, you can bridge USDT from Ethereum to Apertum and use the wUSDT you receive.

Web3 wallet → APTM DAO registration and KYC → Ethereum USDT → Bridge → wUSDT on Apertum → Unlock an article

This guide follows that route from beginning to end. Check the payment options on the article you want to read before buying or transferring anything.

First, check the article

Open an article on

Performing Markets

and look at its unlock panel. It shows the accepted tokens and the current amount required for the token you select.

Articles may offer options such as APTM, wAPTM, wUSDT or wUSDC. This guide focuses on wUSDT. If the article you want accepts wUSDT, you do not need to swap it into APTM before paying.

Step 1: Set up a Web3 wallet

Install

MetaMask

or

Xova

from its official website.

Create your wallet and keep your secret recovery phrase somewhere private and secure.

Your public address can receive assets. Your secret recovery phrase controls your wallet. Never share it or enter it into a registration form.

Step 2: Register with APTM DAO

To access the APTM DAO Bridge, register an account and complete its identity verification.

  1. Open the APTM DAO registration page and connect your Web3 wallet.
  2. Here is a step by step guide how to Register your APTMDAO Profile. How-to-Register-and-KYC-your-APTM-DAO-account-2.pdf
  3. Complete the requested personal details and KYC identity questions.
  4. Upload the requested identification.
  5. Complete the liveness video.
  6. Submit your application and wait for approval. Processing times can vary.

After approval, check the Apertum network and your available balance in your wallet. If the setup offers APTM for initial network fees, verify that it is present before relying on it.

Step 3: Obtain Ethereum USDT

APTM DAO registration gives you access to the Bridge. It does not supply the USDT you will send through it. You need USDT on the Ethereum network in the Web3 wallet you will connect to the Bridge.

Revolut

If you are starting with pounds, Revolut is one option to check for buying USDT.

Sign up with my Revolut referral link

Before buying, confirm that your account allows you to buy USDT and send it to your own Web3 wallet using the Ethereum ERC-20 network. Review the purchase and withdrawal fees first.

Nexo

Nexo

is another option to check.

If you choose Nexo, confirm in your account that you can buy USDT and withdraw it on the Ethereum ERC-20 network to your own wallet. Check the fees and minimums before buying.

You can use another provider if you already have Ethereum-network USDT. You may also need a small amount of ETH in your Web3 wallet for the Ethereum-side bridge fee.

Important: Your withdrawal must use the Ethereum network for the Ethereum USDT route in this guide. Do not choose another network simply because it shows a lower fee.

Step 4: Open the Bridge

Once your APTM DAO account is approved, visit the

APTM DAO dashboard

and connect the same wallet you used during registration.

Find the menu top right beside your wallet address, click the drop down arrow and select Bridge.

How to Bridge USDT on Ethereum network to WUSDT on the Apertum Network: A Beginner’s Guide

Step 5: Bridge USDT to wUSDT

  1. Select USDT as the token to send.
  2. Select Ethereum as the network you are sending from.
  3. Select Apertum as the destination network.
  4. Check that the live Bridge quote shows wUSDT on Apertum as the token you will receive.
  5. Enter the amount and review the minimum, fees, token amounts and wallet approval requests.
  6. Confirm only when the displayed details are correct.
  7. Wait for the Bridge to complete, then check your Apertum wallet.

Pause before approving: You may need ETH for the Ethereum-side transaction fee. Check the exact token, network, amount and fee on the live Bridge and wallet screens.

Step 6: Unlock your article

Return to the Performing Markets article you want to read. If its live unlock panel accepts wUSDT, connect your Apertum wallet, select wUSDT and review the quoted payment before confirming.

Check whether your wallet shows an APTM network fee for the transaction. Make sure you have enough APTM to cover any fee displayed before approving the payment.

No unnecessary swap: Once you have wUSDT on Apertum, you can use it for an article that accepts wUSDT. Swapping into APTM on the DEX is not required for that payment.
